International Gala

Piedmont CASA was honored to have Mayor of Hoschton, Theresa Kenerly, as Master of Ceremony. The evening drew a large crowd of Piedmont CASA supporters, including many local and state politicians and the generous support of local businesses.
Awards were presented for Best Taste Chocolatier and Best Presentation Chocolatier. Chocolatiers included Condor Chocolates, Cream and Shuga, Ferranti’s Cakery, Higher Grounds Coffee House and Majestic Confectionary.  Higher Grounds Coffee House took home the awards for both Best Taste and Best Presentation.
An Italian meal was prepared by Rachetti’s Café, Pizzeria and Pub, music presented by Line 6. A rousing Live Auction by Nathan Cagle of Cagle Auction Company. Silent auction items were visited throughout the evening with the hopes of winning that special item and attendees purchased raffle tickets for the chance to win a 55” TV donated by Lori Carson of State Farm and a chocolate diamond ring donated by Frederick’s Jewelers.
The evening included a toast to newly retired Executive Director, Annette Bates, thanking her for her many years of service and leadership to Piedmont CASA. We are grateful for the time, heart and dedication she invested into the organization. Piedmont CASA’s new Executive Director, Michelle Black, was introduced and welcomed to the Piedmont CASA family.
